Chocolate and sweet tastes – This is an extra tour; contact us to confirm the tour availability
Tour highlights (itinerary may be changed without notice – read more)
We start our journey at Galleria, chatting about the food of the gods – chocolate (what else?). Then we enjoy Cocoa-Le-Art handmade chocolates from Déva, a concept store that caters to all senses. A short walk takes us to the historical GPO, a fashion – and now chocolate – destination in the heart of Melbourne. The former General Post Office is home to Cacao Fine Chocolates, where we will be seduced by the finest ingredients, festive flavours and beautiful designs.
Our chocolate journey continues in Chokolait, in The Hub Arcade. Here we have a shot of Belgian hot or iced chocolate and taste pearl-like shapes of dark and milk chocolate, directly from Belgium and/or Switzerland. Haigh's Chocolates, in The Block Arcade, is our next stop. In the most elegant arcade in Melbourne, we combine chocolate tastings with an insight into the history of the Haigh's family, who has dedicated its last 4 generations to create chocolates that will melt easily in our mouths. Don't even try to resist.
Is it over? No! We finish our tour with a delicious afternoon tea in a chocolate delights café. There is no better ending to this indulgent experience...
