History and chocolate combine in a melting pot to give those visiting Melbourne a delicious taste of life in the city. Enjoy Belgian-style chocolates, hot or iced chocolate, cakes at a French café...
Friday, 2pm – Tour highlights (itinerary may be changed without notice – read more)
The afternoon begins at Haigh's Chocolates in The Block Arcade, the most elegant arcade in Melbourne. Here we combine tastings with an insight into the history of the family who has dedicated its last four generations from 1915 to the making of chocolate.
Next the walking tour goes to Galleria. Here, we visit Déva and stimulate our chocolate senses with the exclusive Cocoa-Le-Art handmade chocolates. A stroll takes us to the Hub Arcade, where Chokolait is seducing chocoholics with delicious treats. A tasting of one of their chocolate drinks will prove this!
A few steps now lead us to the Royal Arcade, the oldest arcade in Melbourne, home to the chocolate world of Koko Black. Chat to its chocolatier, soak up the atmosphere of this exquisite salon and taste one of their handcrafted chocolates. It is time for afternoon tea at Laurent Boulangerie Patisserie, one of the most stylish cafes in Melbourne. Hot chocolate, tea or coffee and one of their rich French cake creations. Hmmm...
