Experience an afternoon of chocolate joy set within fascinating lanes and arcades of Melbourne. This walking tour has Belgian-style and Australian chocolate tastings, tea and more!

The first indulgence of the afternoon is at Haigh's Chocolates in The Block Arcade. Here we combine the delicious chocolate tasting with an insight into the history of the Haigh's family, who has dedicated its last four generations to create chocolates that will melt in our mouths.

The walk goes to Galleria, where we taste flavours (and smell aromas) of T2's specialty teas, and learn how they combine with chocolates, especially Australia's Chocolatier. We now visit Déva and stimulate our chocolate senses with its exclusive Cocoa-Le-Art handmade chocolates.

It is time to go to the Royal Arcade, the oldest arcade in Melbourne, where mythical Gog and Magog watch over the chocolate world of Koko Black. Chat to its chocolatier, take a look at the miniature chocolate factory, then taste their Belgian-style chocolate. Now get ready, as we go to CH2 Eat Drink for a delicious afternoon tea.

When – Saturday, at 2.15pm (new time); this tour can be arranged on weekdays for groups (conditions apply and locations may be changed due to their availability on weekdays)
Tours occur throughout the year, in all weather conditions
Duration – 1.5–2 hours approximately
Meeting time – Saturday tours: 2.05pm (for a 2.15pm start)

Meeting point – Outside Haigh's Chocolates, in The Block Arcade, Melbourne (see map). Enter via Collins or Elizabeth Street and follow the corridor for about 30 metres. Tour size – maximum number is 26 participants (individuals and groups are welcome; note that you don't need to have a group to join us). Due to some tour stops, the chocolate walking tours are not wheelchair or pram friendly

Private tours on Saturdays can be arranged only if your group has at least 26 participants (groups with less people will be joined by other chocoholics)

Cost – $35 (all-inclusive; adults or children – adults with children from 6 years of age must pay for the kids)

Recipients of gift vouchers should quote their voucher number when booking a tour (note: we cannot accept expired vouchers)

There are 3 options available (items cannot be sold separately) for an additional cost, and the pack is given to the recipient(s) on the day of their tour:

option A – a box with 8 chocolates from one of Melbourne's top chocolatiers and a specially made badge with the words "I'm a chocoholic" – $20 each
option B – 2 bag tags (with images of chocolate bars) and a specially made badge with the words "I'm a chocoholic" – $20 each
option C – a box with 8 chocolates from one of Melbourne's top chocolatiers, a badge with the words "I'm a chocoholic" and 2 bag tags (with images of chocolate bars) – $35 each

Cancellation policy

If you cancel your booking up to five (5) business days before the booked walk, you can book another tour (subject to availability) or request a refund.
If you cancel your booking less than five (5) business days before the booked walk, you can transfer it to another person (a friend or relative, for example), but you are committed to the original booked date and tour. No refund is given.
