everyone from OZ told me to take this tour!

I totally love chocolate and totally now love Melbourne more than Sydney. As an American traveling to a new city, you have to taste your way around to really get a sense of the place. This chocolate tour was the perfect way to get that first bite of the big smoke and get to see some of the hot spots and historically important sites of the CBD. I would say that this is a must for all- even if you are so-so about chocolate. Louisa was the perfect tour guide with a great Aussie attitude and friendliness that is hard to find in other countries. There is a high likelihood that I will come back again the next time I am in Melbourne! THANX!

Just did the tour on Saturday with Louisa as host. More than enough tastings, knowledgeable on the history of chocolate making, and enthusiastic.
The map shows plenty of other places left to discover!

Filled a very happy and enjoyable couple of hours doing the tour on my first Saturday of a recent 3-week trip to Melbourne. The tour was excellent, Sue made it very interesting and informative. The group were a nice bunch too, and the stops at each shop were interesting and tasty! I'd recommend this to anyone visiting Melbourne! I'll certainly consider another tour next time I'm visiting from the UK.

Congratulations on your staff/tour leaders. Lovely girls with great personalities. Our tour consisted of 6 people - I would suggest you limit groups to 10 : any more would spoil the experience. The chocolate manufacturers selected were of the highest quality, but I would also like to have had more tasting samples to take home and share - eating so many in one morning became confusing to the taste buds.

    Fantastic!!

What a great way to spend a Saturday morning - walking around Melbourne CBD, tasting chocolate & discovering new chocolate places I didn't even know existed!
Amanda was a fantastic guide & we also had Mandy & Andy (new tour guides) along - they were also lovely.
Bought many delicious chocolates & would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone who loves chocolate!

We just arrived home from an another amazing trip to Melbourne and have been dividing up our chocolate treasures between family members. We joined Marcus on Saturday for the Bittersweet Tour and we had such an amazing afternoon. The establishments we visited produced such beautiful quality chocolate goodies. Their managers were so welcoming and proudly knowledgeable about their companies, procedures and delectable products. Marcus was a charming and informative guide and our group was filled with lovely companions which made our afternoon so deliciously delightful.

Attended the Bitersweet Chocolate tour with Amanda as our guide. Enjoyed the various chocolate shops and the different chocolate tastings. Amanda was enthusiastic and it is obvious she enjoys her job and chocolate. The reason for the one star off was the size of the group--24 people is too many I think. We were delayed often as folks (understandably) bought chocolate at many of the shops we visited--the chocolate IS fantastic--the shops were busy as it was a Saturday, and thus it felt rushed at the end. All in all a great way to learn about the various chocolate offerings in Melbourne, and I recommend it, just perhaps not on a weekend!--but it was the only day I had free--ah well!

    Hi Andrea,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your experience with us. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed yourself. Our Bittersweet Chocolate Tour is our most popular tour that we have. As the tour runs on weekends only it can get quite busy! We would love to host you on tour again and perhaps you could come along and join one of our other tours that run during the week.

    Chocolate Regards,
    Sahar & The Chocoholics team!
