Cancellation of a Walking Tour

When can you cancel or rearrange a booking? 

We confirm all tours and guest numbers with our guides and chocolate partners three (3) days before the tour; therefore, we require at least three (3) days’ notice of cancellation and/or rearrangement of a tour booking.  

More than three (3) days before the tour date: 

If you wish to rearrange or cancel your booking more than three (3) days before the tour date you can transfer the booking to another tour (subject to availability) or request a full refund.  

Less than  three (3) days before the tour date:

If you wish to rearrange or cancel your booking less than three (3) days before the tour date you will be unable to transfer the booking to another tour and no refund will be given.  You are welcome to transfer the booking to another person (a friend or relative, for example). 

 

Cancellation due to COVID-19

Special dispensation is provided if you need to cancel due to Covid-19.  If you need to cancel your tour either due to travel restrictions or if you are displaying symptoms of Covid-19 please try to adhere to our standard cancellation terms.  This enables us to give our guides and stores sufficient notice that a tour may be cancelled.  However, in this circumstance we will either rearrange your booking or cancel it with a full refund even at the last minute.

 

When will Chocoholic Tours cancel a booking? 

Chocoholic Tours may cancel a tour if we haven’t met the minimum number of bookings required to operate the tour.  If this occurs we will contact you at least two days before the tour and offer you an alternative tour.  If you are unable to accommodate an alternative tour we will provide a full refund. 

We may also cancel a tour due to circumstances out of our control; for example, Covid-19 restrictions which result in stores closing or Physical Distancing restrictions which mean we can’t operate the tour safely or to the standard you would expect.  If this occurs, we will ask you to consider either rescheduling your booking or converting your booking to a Gift Card.  If this doesn’t work for you, we will process your refund immediately.

 

What if I booked through a third party, e.g. Red Balloon or Trip Advisor? 

It may be required that you contact the provider who will confirm the cancellation with us.  We will advise you at the time. 

 

What if I booked using a gift card? 

The same cancellation terms apply; however, we are unable to offer a refund of the original gift card.  We can either reschedule your booking or reinstate the gift card for use in the future.

When can you cancel or rearrange a booking? 

The operator of this tour, Wildlife Tours, require seven (7) days notice of cancellation and/or rearrangement of a tour booking.  

More than seven (7) days before the tour date: 

If you wish to rearrange or cancel your booking more than seven (7) days before the tour date you can transfer the booking to another tour (subject to availability) or request a full refund.  

Less than seven (7) days before the tour date
If you wish to rearrange or cancel your booking less than seven (7) days before the tour date you will be unable to transfer the booking to another tour and no refund will be given.  You are welcome to transfer the booking to another person (a friend or relative, for example).

The same cancellation terms apply; however, we are unable to offer a refund of the original gift card.  We can either reschedule your booking or reinstate the gift card for use in the future.
