Cancellation of a Walking Tour

Cancellation due to COVID-19

If you need to cancel your tour due to travel restrictions  please try to adhere to our standard cancellation terms as it enables us to give our guides and stores sufficient notice that a tour may be cancelled.

If you have booked through a third party you will need to contact them to confirm their current terms & conditions regarding cancellation.

Before you cancel your booking and request a refund, would you consider us holding this payment and either rescheduling your booking or converting your booking to a Gift Card?  As you would imagine – we (and many other tour and activity operators) are currently facing a very challenging time.

We are supremely confident that it won’t be for long – and we will soon bounce back better than ever.   However right now times are tough, and it will help immensely if our customers would consider postponing rather than cancelling their tour with us.

If this doesn’t work for you we will process your refund straight away – I would be very thankful however if you would consider this alternative as it’ll go a long way to helping us navigate this challenging time and bounce back quickly.

 

When can you cancel or rearrange a booking? 

We confirm all tours and guest numbers with our guides and partners three (3) days before the tour; therefore, we require at least three (3) days notice of cancellation and/or rearrangement of a tour booking.  

More than three (3) days before the tour date: 

If you wish to rearrange or cancel your booking more than three (3) days before the tour date you can transfer the booking to another tour (subject to availability) or request a refund.  

Less than  three (3) days before the tour date
If you wish to rearrange or cancel your booking less than three (3) days before the tour date you will be unable to transfer the booking to another tour and no refund will be given.  You are welcome to transfer the booking to another person (a friend or relative, for example). 

When will Chocoholic Tours cancel a booking? 

Chocoholic Tours will only cancel a tour if we haven’t met the minimum number of bookings required to operate the tour.  If this occurs we will contact you at least two days before the tour and offer you an alternative tour.  If you are unable to accommodate an alternative tour we will provide a full refund. 

What if I booked through a third party, e.g. Red Balloon? 

It may be required that you contact the provider who will confirm the cancellation with us.  We will advise you at the time. 

What if I booked using a gift voucher? 

The same cancellation terms apply, expect we are unable to offer a refund of the original voucher. 

Cancellation of a Yarra Valley Tour

When can you cancel or rearrange a booking? 

We confirm all tours and guest numbers with our guides and partners seven (7) days before the tour; therefore, we require at least three (7) days notice of cancellation and/or rearrangement of a tour booking.  

More than three (7) days before the tour date: 

If you wish to rearrange or cancel your booking more than seven (7) days before the tour date you can transfer the booking to another tour (subject to availability) or request a refund.  

Less than  three (7) days before the tour date
If you wish to rearrange or cancel your booking less than seven (7) days before the tour date you will be unable to transfer the booking to another tour and no refund will be given.  You are welcome to transfer the booking to another person (a friend or relative, for example).
